Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of IQMaxx (iqmaxx.ing). By taking the test or buying results you agree to them.
1. Entertainment only
IQMaxx is an online puzzle game. Its score is produced by our own scoring formula and is presented on a familiar IQ-style scale for fun. It is not a clinical, psychological, diagnostic or professionally administered IQ assessment, and must not be used for educational, employment, medical, legal or immigration decisions.
2. What you buy
Taking the test is free. For a one-time payment of $9.99 USD you get your full result: score, percentile, category breakdown, a downloadable certificate and a share image. It is a digital product delivered immediately on screen. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.
3. Payments
Payments are processed through Stripe's Managed Payments service, under which Link (a Stripe company) acts as the merchant of record and handles billing, sales tax and receipts. We never see or store your card details.
4. Refunds
See our Refund Policy. In short: ask within 7 days of purchase and we'll refund you.
5. Acceptable use
Don't attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it, or access other people's results.
6. Intellectual property
All questions, figures and designs are original works owned by IQMaxx. Text uses the Public Sans typeface (SIL Open Font License). The brain emoji on share images is from Google's Noto Emoji (open source).
7. No warranty; limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version.
